A Busy and Fulfilling Day

Well, Today is a brand new day....WOW!! It is also a very hot weather.....
This afternoon, I had to go to my friend M's house to do a project... My group members were all very "ON" as most of them stay quite far, E.g. Woodlands, Jurong East, Tampines and Simei to come all the way to Seng Kang and do group discussion.....

As for me, I stay very near: Hougang.... only ten bus stops from my house to hers....

Joke of the Day: My Friend YL was the joke of the day..!!!! HaHa ! Why?
Because all of us were together on the bus, on the way to M's house, when it was time to alight the bus, YL realized that her ezlink card could not be found!!! All of us had already alighted, and there she was looking at us with a blank look on her face...... Then "tennnnn!" u know "DooR Closing" AND the next moment was the door of the bus slammed shut... with Her on board, the bus moved on with all of us " Huh???? "Blur look on our face....

After the bus moved for quite a distance, all of us bursted into laughter.... Hahahaha!!!!
M had to walk to the other bus stop to fetch her back....
Well she was still on board the bus... Coz....
she had left her ezlink on the bus seat....... The ezlink card actually slipped out of her pocket..... hahaha!!!!

It was a very enjoyable afternoon, The best part of this project work was where, we had to take photographs of every member, to pose for a part in the project.....

As our theme for the project is " Osteoporosis" We had to focus mainly on women and our body bones.....
We selected the park just directly under her block, U know... Sunday and in the evening, the weather was cool and windy... there were children down in the playground having fun..... people jogging, exercising..... elderly people, enjoying a cool evening in the park....

Actually, we noted there was two elderly couple sitting and resting in the shade, we actually wanted to
take a picture of them for our project.... and before we could do that, we had to ask for their permission first.... My friend YL and S were wondering what dialect should they use to communicate with them, at first they assumed they speak only Cantonese or malay, J, an only male among the six of us who could speak Cantonese, was dragged to communicate with them, but he refused, so S went, spoke to them in malay....but was unsuccessful, and one granny actually spoke mandarin.... I went up and heard the grandpa spoke Teochew, so I communicated with him in this dialect which I grew up with.....But no matter how hard I tried, he shook his head.... Finally we realized that he had hearing impairment... so we thank them and continued with our photography....

Busy but well spent Sunday!!!!
