I waited for my brother to return home after his two weeks BMT!!! He was supposed to reached home by 9pm last night, by due to some events, he was delayed...... So he reached home at around 1am.....

When I looked at him.....!!!!! I actually shouted!!!! HE LOOKED SO DIFFERENT.... HE ACTUALLY PUT ON WEIGHT, LOOKED VERY VERY TANNED!!!!!
BUT STILL AS GOOD-LOOKING AS BEFORE!!!!! ( hahahahaha!!! hey, i am telling the truth!! My brother is one handsome guy!!!My friends will know whether I am telling the truth or not!!!)

I almost could not recognise that he is my brother!!!!

Everyone of us, were very excited ........started asking him alot of questions about his training!!!!

He enjoyed his training but the training was very tough!!!! And this two weeks of training..... was still known as the "HONEYMOON PERIOD"!!!!

Next monday.....His training will be even tougher!!!!! So he said he will enjoy his weekend at home!!!!

He told me a lot of stories........about his army mates, his training, and many others........
However, I will share it with my gang of close friends in school!!!!

Another side of me----> Violent

Today is a very fast-paced day.... I woke up at around 10.30 in the morning, revised some of my notes.........Later I felt quite bored, read some chinese on-line novels......When I looked at the clock.....It was already 3pm in the afternoon, I got to prepare to go to school, my clinical lab lesson is starting in one hour time.......

However, I was late for 10 minutes and luckily, my lecturer was not angry with me!!!

She taught us on Total Parenteral nutrition (TPN), how to administer it to our patients, how to function the TPN pump..... It was a very boring subject...... But still everyone in the class have to learn to manipulate the pump!!!!!

Later, our lecturer wanted me to demonstrate how a dressing was being done on a patient with a central venous line......

I was very nervous and was worried that I could not do it right!!!!

But in the end....我只好硬着头皮上!!!

I thought all my classmates will encourage and support me through our that ordeal.....but SADLY..... Some of them BOO and laughed at me!!!! ( I know that they are just making fun of me but that really still hurt me badly!!)

My luck is on the rise!!!!

Today, my luck seems better......when I woke up, my eyes was not so swollen and red as compaired to yesterday!!!

However, I again stared at the computer, to finish up our group essay...... ( that same old Osteoporosis project....but this round our group have to submit a 1500 words essay) So this morning, I worked very hard.....coz the due date is near: Monday 17/10/05 , and we have to submit it with our end-product (A handout) by 5pm and no later than that!! Otherwise it will not be accepted and we will get " ZERO MARKS"

In between, I had some short period of rest, to prevent straining my eyes, and to instill my prescribed eye medication....

Around 6.30pm, my brother called home......."Hey sis, I just finished my daily training!! So how is every one at home? how is Ah ma?" ( "Ah ma"- short for grandmother)

I managed to tease him
ME: "Hey what time you woke up every morning?"
Vin: " I wake up at 5 o'clock every morning! Why?"
ME: " Hee, nothing, just want to let you know I woke up at around 10 o'clock every day!"
Vin: " .................... Go and eat shit!"
hahahaha, that really feel good to do that to him!!!!!!hahahaaha!!!

In between our conversation, I could hear his army mates shouting and talking in the background......

Before he hung up, he spoke to our grandmother for a short while......

Then my friend AUD who left for Australia for a new job there, signed in to the MSN, and we managed to have a short but sweet chit on-line....

Now I am in a very good mood...... Hope nothing will spoilt it!!!!!
Ok for now.....got to have my shower!!!!

P. S. ---> Hope everyday from now on... will be a happy and peaceful time for all the people around me.....Especially for my family and friends who are kind of upset these days

My friends--> Hope u all will be in happiness wherever u go!!!

Health points were very low lately!!!

Oh my god....lately my health is not very good!!!!! First, I sprained my leg.......then inflammation and oedema arised due to allergy and sensitively to the chinese medicated oilment...... then today I developed conjunctivitis in my right eye!!!!

"Sob" "Sob" I spent alot of money in seeing doctor for this month! I am going broke soon...

Haiz, I may had gotten up from the wrong side of the bed...... (but I have been getting up from this side of the bed ever since I moved in!!!!)

Today was a total chaos for me to handle...... Woke up, could not open my right eye...... realized that something was not right....Jumped out of bed......rushed to the toilet....looked into the mirror....... true enough.... my eye is swollen again!!!( This is a recurrent problem)

Immediately I went to the polyclinic to see the doctor!!!

Like all people, when you are sick...you will definately be extremely anxious and frustrated the health problem!!!

This morning, while I was at the polyclinic, I presented the same symptoms..... At first, I was quite alright, as this is the same old health problem....but as time was running out for me, cause I had a lesson in the morning....and yet I was still waiting to be registered....

(In Polyclinics, the waiting time is extremely long!!! you got to have extreme good patience to wait for your turn.....to be registered, to see the doctor and to collect your medication....
The reason why polyclinics are so crowded with people, it is because the doctor's consultation fees and medication fees are much lower than GPs-private clinics)

I chose to go to polyclinic WHY? - very near, just directly opposite my flat and it is cheaper....

I was getting so upset and frustated because I waited for 2 hours and was not yet registered..... It got worse later because the lady who registered me put me to consult the doctor who was in-charge to see babies and toddlers.... Oh my.... there were cute babies all around me and I could not play with them, fearing that I may passed the infection to them....

Another upset thing was, There were too many patients for this doctor that it seemed my call number will never appear!!!!!!!

The doctor gave me two days MC...... but I still went to school anyway.....coz I don't want to miss my clinical lab lesson....if I missed this, I got to replace it!!!!

ok that is all... I want to go and rest now!!!!
P.S. Hope the rest of the days goes by....my luck will get better!!!

A boring day at school!!!!

So Boring.....Come to school only for 2-3hours.......The first 2 hours were lectures, and the 1 hour was booked for our group discussion for our Osteoporosis proposal essay.....

All of us were having Question Marks all over in our head!!!! Don't know whether how to start composing that 1500 words essay....

Luckily, S (One of my group members) managed to distribute the work equally among the six of us.....

After that short discussion, J , M and YL went home, leaving Z doing her mental health project with her assigned group members....S and I want to our school computer lab to check our e-mails and type our blog ( which I am doing so now!!!) After this, we will then proceed to the library to either study there, or may be I will just borrow some books to refer for exam and then go home......

There are so many hours left.... I don't want to waste the time, doing nothing...

Time now is very precious for us!!!! The exams are just round the corner....have to work extremely hard!!!!

Maybe later on the way home, I will just go and check out the VCDS shop if the drama series I have been waiting for long , is out for sale or not........ (王子变青蛙 Part 3)

I have been waiting for this part 3, for almost three weeks...... This drama series is very ideal for the whole family entertainment.... I really recommend this drama series!!!

Usually, I don't really watch Taiwanese Idol drama series.. but this one is quite exceptional....The story line is not boring, and the characters cast are all very very lively.... They really can brighten up your day..... And mostly importantly.... in combination with the background sound and music, and the way they express themselves and their actions!!!

Two words to describe: Extemely Hilarious!!!

That is for all now!!!! Got to go to library.... and Study, study, study....... Haiz!!!!!

加油,我一定行!!!
P.S. 我一定要努力念书!不可以临时抱佛脚!!!(咳,说得容易, 做得难!我现在就想看电视节目!!)

Blue, blue Monday!!!

Today is a real blue Monday.....

I was kind of tired and bored ...... I don't really understand why I felt this way.....

Maybe because I was not physical well...however the oedema on my leg was subsiding slowly.... and I was able to walked properly....

When I was in school, i felt much better, because I was not alone...I had the company of my friends....

But when I reached home, there was the feeling of emptiness, it kept hogging me....
my grandma and my dad was home.....but I don't want to chit chat with them....coz they will definately asked me to go and study.....haha...( Actually, because my chit chat is always very lame....thus they cannot understand, so that is why they don't want to talk to me!!!)

Haiz... i really missed my brother very much.....(he is still in the army having his basic military training)....he is the one who will play, chit chat and quarrel with me.... now he is busy with his embarkment to manhood..... I was left alone for the first time... to have everything in the house to my mercy!!! hahaha!!!

While I am typing this blog, he called me.... the first thing I asked was: "so how is it, do you feel tired?" The answer was : " very very tired!!! "

After that expected answer, He said: "I want to speak to ah ma, please call her."
(He missed my grandmother very much.....I can feel that, because everytime he called, he will definately want to speak to my grandmother!!!!

(My grandmother brought us up, thus this kinship bond is very, very strong and it can never be broken!!!)

My leg swelled up to look like pig trotters!!!

My leg has not yet recover....instead it got worse this morning..... I discovered that my right leg was swollen, and i was worried!!!! (My leg really looked like pig trotters)

I spent the first part of the day trying to diagnose what was wrong with my leg!!! There was also a huge patch of redness on the right ankle area!!!!
My own diagnosis: Oedema due to my sprain!!!

In the evening, around 8pm, I went to see the GP ( private physician) . The doctor dignosised that my leg was swollen because of inflammatory process of my skin....due to
( allergy to some kind of chinese medicate oil) and most importantly: I scatched!!!

Because of the inflammation, the channels were all blocked up, the fluids was unable to flow, thus it presented oedema!!!
I even called up my friends and asked them if they want to eat pig trotters or not!!!!!

So i was given tablet anti-histamine, anti-inflammatory ( prednesolone) and some topical cream to apply on the patch of redness!!

And to also prop up my leg at all times, to reduce the oedema!!

A journey that all Singaporean men have to embark on!!!!

Today is a very important day for my family because my younger brother had embarked on a journey which every man in Singapore has to go through....... Which is : THE NATIONAL SERVICE!!!

My brother was always very keen in entering the army..... this is what he always wanted!!

Finally, the enlistment letter was sent to him and the enlistment date is 7th October 2005! which is today!!!

A few days ago, my brother was very excited, went out shopping for the things he need to use while in camp. He packed all the things in a very big bag.... it just gave me a thought that he was going on a travel trip with his friends....but who on earth, on a travel trip will just bring along only briefs, snake powder, shavers, hangers, washing powder, slippers, toileteries, an alarm clock, a touch light and 1 pair of locks?????

But anyway...these are what he will need in the camp..... clothes will be provided....!!!

Last night, I kept teasing him.... that he is not allowed to come home for 2 weeks.... can't use the computer to chat with his friends on line.... can't listen to music......he has to sleep and wake up very early.... He can't sleep in his own bed with his own pillow and bolster.... He has to bathe with cold water...there is no heater there.... AND most importantly, there will be no one who will wash his briefs for him!!!!! hahaha!!!!

He was very excited at first but as the time gets nearer and nearer.... he admited that he was starting to miss home already.... hahahaha!!!!

My dad said there will be one period for him... that he has to wear his briefs inside out for one week!!!! yuck!!! then must be very itchy....so must put alot of snake powder to relieve the itch!!!! hahahah!!!!

Right now he is already in the camp..... Even though he just left the house for a few hours, I am begining to miss him already!!!!

Anyway, never mind!!!! He promises my grandma that he will call home every night before he sleep!!!!!!

I am very sure that my brother will be more mature when he finished his army training!!!!

P.S. Oh ya !!! ONE more thing!!! He will also be more tanned and muscular too when he return home after his two weeks of training!!!!
Oh !!! I can't wait to listen to all his stories about his army training!!!!!!
